Arrivillaga Basile Design Studio
We are an international design studio founded in 2014 by Luis A. Arrivillaga and Giulia Basile. Giulia was born in Italy and studied art, graduating with a Master’s degree in Interior design. Luis is a mechanical engineer with a Master’s degree in Industrial and Interior design. They have been working together, for over 4 years, in multidisciplinary projects between Guatemala and Milan.
Giulia and Luis bring together complementary methods to their work. Giulia’s approach combines the research and aesthetic view from visual cultures; mixing and exploring unexpected combinations between arts and architecture. Luis’ approach is based on a deep understanding of the industrial process and material knowledge. Working together brings many worlds into each project, combining technology, architecture, design and visual arts.
